United Commodity Group's purpose is to provide exceptional quality products and customer service for K-12 foodservice programs across the country.    

In the beginning, UCG specialized in adding value to USDA commodities through the commodity processing program.  Our expertise working within the USDA commodity system has allowed us to provide advice and solutions to schools/recipient agencies, distributing agencies and manufacturers.  We are a Nationally Approved Processor and process millions of pounds of raw commodities into more user friendly finished products every year.  As our commodity processing business has grown, so has the need to provide consistently available menu selections on a non-commodity basis. 

UCG is not only a leader in USDA commodity processing, but we also provide commercial products to meet any school system's needs.  United Commodity Group now offers a complete line of Menu Select brand options for K-12 breakfast, lunch and a la carte feeding.  Our innovative approach and flexibility have differentiated us from other traditional distributors.  In fact, we now have the necessary inventory and distribution mechanisms in place to fill orders for schools from coast to coast.
